There is no station in the parish; residents drive or take a bus to Carcavelos (27 minutes to Cais do Sodré) or Parede (29 minutes), with São Pedro do Estoril (32 minutes) as a further option. MobiCascais lines are free with the Viver Cascais card, while Carris Metropolitana routes, for example towards Oeiras, are paid. A5 exits 8 and 9 connect to Lisbon, and the Marginal is reached through Parede and Carcavelos. Primary care is at the Centro de Saúde de São Domingos de Rana on Av. Nova Aliança; the nearest hospital is in Alcabideche.

Education
St. Dominic's International School is inside the parish: founded in 1954, on this campus since 1975 and an IB World School since 1997, it offers the full IB continuum for ages 3–18. St. Julian's School in Carcavelos says most of its 2026/27 classes are full, and Oeiras International School in Barcarena teaches the IB throughout. In the public network, the Agrupamento Frei Gonçalo de Azevedo includes EB/JI nº2 Abóboda, EB Trajouce and EB nº2 Tires, and the Agrupamento Matilde Rosa Araújo includes EB/JI nº3 Tires (2018/19 municipal list).
